What We Do

Our Damp & Property Services

We provide a comprehensive range of damp-proofing, waterproofing and property repair services, helping homeowners and property professionals identify the cause of damp and deliver effective, long-lasting solutions.

Our priority is to establish the cause of the defect first, whether that is a plumbing leak, defective roof, failed pointing, bridged DPC, inadequate ventilation, condensation, groundwater or another building defect.

Once the cause has been established, we can provide a clear recommendation for the appropriate remedial works.

Rising Damp

Rising damp occurs when moisture from the ground travels upwards through masonry, often due to a failed, bridged or missing damp-proof course (DPC).

We assess the property to establish whether rising damp is present and identify the underlying cause before recommending the most appropriate remedial solution. This may include DPC installation or repair, removal of contaminated plaster and the application of suitable specialist replastering systems.

Penetrating Damp

Penetrating damp occurs when water enters a building through defects in the external fabric, such as damaged pointing, defective render, leaking gutters, failed flashings, defective roofs or damaged brickwork.

Our approach focuses on identifying and addressing the source of the water ingress before carrying out the necessary repairs and internal reinstatement.

Condensation & Mould

Condensation is one of the most common causes of damp and mould within homes. It can occur where warm, moisture-laden air meets cold surfaces, particularly in areas with inadequate ventilation or insulation.

We investigate the underlying causes, including ventilation, humidity levels, cold bridging and building defects, before recommending practical measures to improve ventilation and reduce the risk of recurring mould growth.

Cellar & Basement Tanking

We provide specialist waterproofing solutions for damp and water-affected cellars and basements.

Depending on the construction and condition of the space, solutions can include cementitious tanking, waterproof membrane systems, drainage systems and appropriate internal finishes. Each basement is assessed individually to determine the most suitable approach.

Waterproofing

Our waterproofing services are designed to protect vulnerable areas of a property from water ingress and moisture penetration.

We can assist with walls, floors, cellars, basements and other below-ground structures, using appropriate waterproofing systems selected to suit the construction and level of exposure.

External Building Repairs

Damp problems are frequently caused by defects to the outside of a property.

Our services can include repairs to pointing, render, brickwork, external cracks, gutters, downpipes, flashings and other areas where defects may allow moisture into the building.

Timber Treatment & Woodworm

Damp conditions can contribute to timber deterioration and may increase the risk of fungal decay and insect attack.

We assess affected timbers and can provide appropriate treatment and remedial recommendations for issues including woodworm, fungal decay and timber deterioration.

Dry & Wet Rot

Fungal decay can seriously affect structural and non-structural timber if left untreated.

We identify signs of dry rot, wet rot and timber decay, establish the extent of the affected area and recommend appropriate treatment, timber replacement and associated building repairs where required.

DPC Installation & Repair

A functioning damp-proof course is an important part of protecting a building from ground moisture. Where a DPC is missing, defective or has been bridged, we can assess the situation and recommend suitable remedial measures, including chemical DPC systems where appropriate.

Plastering & Reinstatement

Damp-related damage can leave plaster contaminated with salts, stained or deteriorated even after the original source of moisture has been addressed.

We can undertake appropriate plaster removal and reinstatement using systems suitable for the property’s construction and the nature of the damp problem.

Quality Work. Practical Solutions.Long-Term Results

Our aim is simple: identify the problem, address the cause and provide a professional solution designed to last.

From initial investigation through to completion and reinstatement, we provide a complete service with clear communication, professional workmanship and customer satisfaction at the centre of everything we do.
